French designer Ionna Vautrin's new table light for Italian brand Foscarini is a small, portable lamp with a rounded shape reminiscent of petrol lamps and camping lights.
Called Doll, the design is inspired by the shape of the traditional Japanese Kokeshi doll, a type of small wooden craft made as a souvenir, ornament or children's toy.
The head and body of Doll are made of blown glass and plastic. A black plastic ring connects the two elements and acts as a support for the light source concealed inside.
