Bisazza's new tile collection by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel is inspired by traditional carpets. Geometric patterns such as fringe, stripes and diamonds are imprinted into fine porcelain stoneware through laser micro-engraving, so that hard flooring becomes as delicately decorated as soft furnishings.

Iron, china, brass and wood are skillfully matched in Drummonds' new bathroom collection to launch at Clerkenwell Design Week. Designer Christopher Jenner wished to illustrate the enduring English country house aesthetic, but offering a more urban expression of this quintessential English style. The result is a series of handcrafted bathroom units, uniting traditional carpentry and foundry skills.
The collection also shows a growing interest for bathroom aesthetics inspired by other areas of the home such as the living room or kitchen. The quality of the materials used and the modernity of the lines embraced make these free-standing units suitable for furnishing living areas.

The new Eclectic restaurant by Tom Dixon opened its doors in Paris this month. Fabienne and Philippe Amzalak, the duo behind many great names of Parisian restoration including Le bon and Ma Cocotte, asked the designer's Design Research Studio to create cosy and vibrant interiors. Eclectic thus mixes British eccentricity with Parisian chic in a tribute to the exuberant 1970s. Concrete and gold brass are warmed up with thick rugs, and the huge central chandelier dominates the room with its 124 metallic shades.

Architects Pierre Hebbelinck and Pierre de Wit have carried out a complete renovation of the Société Libre d'Emulation building in Liège, Belgium, which was constructed in 1779 and will be home to the Théâtre de Liège.
