Beatrice Brovia and Nicolas Cheng have created a collection of tableware and vases that are repaired using 3D printed reconstructions of their missing or damaged parts.
Called Beyond Repair, the project includes tea cups and a coffee set repaired with 3D printed parts, 14-carat gold staples and 24-carat gold kintsugi.
A glass vase is repaired with a laser-sintered vine leaf decoration, 14-carat gold and 24-carat gold leaf detailing.
A flower vase dating to 1900 is enhanced with a 3D printed model of a lily.
The range is the fourth chapter of Brovia and Cheng's ongoing project, Conversation Piece. Read about Chapter One of the project, which focused on details of the doorway, in our post from 2011.
