On show at Central Saint Martins' Material Futures graduation show this week, Felicity Taylor's Project Nox explores the experience of darkness through touch, fragrance, sound and surface.
A series of material samples including charred wood, glittered surfaces, oily glazes, feathers, caviar-like beads and inky yarns are presented in the installation alongside smoky night-time scents.
The multi-sensory project invites participants to share in Taylor's "re-telling of the dark", considering a concept that can be at once mysterious, scary and magical.
