Tent Pile by formlessfinder at Design Miami 2013

Thursday, 10 October 2013

Design Miami appointed New York-based architectural studio formlessfinder to design a pavilion for this year's fair as part of the biannual Design Commisions program.

The pavilion, named Tent Pile by the architects, will be located in the fair's entrance and will provide shade, seating, cool air naturally generated by the structure, and space to rest and meet. The structure and seating are made from properties of sand and aluminium, inspired by the landscape of Miami.

Design Miami runs from December 4-8.
