Cisco Brothers at High Point Market Fall 2013

Tuesday, 22 October 2013

A highlight at this season's edition of Highpoint was family-run LA brand Cisco Brothers. The warehouse-style showroom is located on the outskirts of Highpoint in an old mill. The large open plan space reflects the atmosphere of the collection. Furniture has been creatively constructed from repurposed objects, reclaimed wood and metal generating an interesting industrial aesthetic.

Recycled silk screens form unique wall art and room dividers. Cotton fabric, once used to protect the screen printing table, has been graffitied by a local street artist known as Bumps, then used to upholster a traditional Chesterfield sofa and classic shaped armchairs.

Products by textile brand Soup are displayed in amongst the heavy duty furniture pieces.  Layers of cotton voile and block printed bedding are featured in sophisticated neutral and almost black tones, helping visitors visualise this lifestyle.
