Inventario: Everything Is A Project
Wednesday, 7 August 2013
Inventario (Italian for inventory) is an editorial initiative created and managed by Beppe Finessi, edited by Corraini and promoted and supported by Foscarini. It stems from the idea that every gesture and action, even the simplest, is a project.
Published with English and Italian texts, Inventario shifts freely between different disciplines that are connected by the idea of creation: a project can be an object, a work of art, a building, a part of nature, the preparing of a special dish, organising of a trip, taking of a photograph or writing of a short story.
Now in its seventh edition, Inventario “Everything is a Project” continues to explore design culture from a number of points of view. This time, research dedicated to the book object has been selected as a starting point – not the book as a physical product, but as a world of things and actions whose designs have been inspired by the book, and are related to it.
