The store windows of French luxury house Louis Vuitton have just been invaded by gold-painted dinosaurs. Inspired by Paris's Museum of Natural History, the new display has been launched to showcase the brands' pre-Autumn-Winter collections.
The display is in line with our spring/summer 2015 macro trend, History 2.0, which documents the "de-extinction" movement in science that sees extinct animals being brought back to life. Designers and design brands will increasingly take inspiration from past eras and bring seemingly archaic elements into the modern world.
