Currently on show at Milan's Dimore Studio is a showcase of Persian brand Golran's latest research into contemporary carpets.
The Carpet Reloaded collection consists of decolorized and patchwork carpets. Decolorized ones are traditionally hand-knotted carpets which undergo a decolorizing process and are then dyed with monochromatic vegetable dyes. Patchwork carpets, which are also unique pieces, are all handmade by cutting and artfully sewing together vintage carpets, putting together an array of colours ranging from bright shades to pale and natural tones.
Carpet Reloaded will be on show at Dimore Studio, Via Solferino 11, until December 5th.
