The D*Dynamic by experimental design and architecture practice D*Haus is a pre-fabricated house that can respond dynamically to its environment and adapt to the needs created by climate changes.
Depending on the season, weather, or time of day, the D*Dynamic can transform into eight different configurations. Its concept is based on the discovery by mathematician Henry Dudeney in 1903 that a square can transform into an equilateral triangle.

The external walls become internal walls while the latest become facades. Doors become windows and vice versa. One can then chose to have the bedroom facing east in the summer to see the sun rise, or to have the living room facing west to see it set in the evenings. In the winter, the rooms oriented south will be naturally warmed by the sun.
