Google has formed a partnership with Italian eyewear giant Luxottica to make its wearable Google Glass technology more fashionable and broaden its appeal. The two corporations will establish a team of experts devoted to working on the design, development, tooling and engineering of Google Glass products to bring together high-fashion, lifestyle and innovative technology, they said Tuesday.

For Salone next month, Italian fashion label Marni will present Animal House at Viale Umbria 42, a festive caravansary in which giraffes, ostriches, rabbits, ducks, donkeys and flamingos, made of metal and bright coloured PVC, will take over the space, joining the products of the brand's limited edition charity project.

The spring/summer 2014 Artisanal collection by Maison Martin Margiela continues the designer's avant-garde approach to fashion design, bridging the gap once more between fashion and interiors. Margiela's garments are all made from the most luxurious of found objects, reclaimed interiors and upholstery fabrics once elevated to art pieces.
Geometric textiles from the 1950s by architect Frank Lloyd Wright are mounted onto corsets, prints by early 20th century Fauvist painter Raoul Dufy are turned into suits, while 1920s Bauhaus tapestries and original Fortuny fabrics also serve as raw material.

Lee Broom has designed a new bar for Selfridges to celebrate the first anniversary of the department store's Men's Shoe Galleries. Called Mark's Bar and operated by British chef and restaurateur Mark Hix, the space features bespoke furniture by Broom that transforms from a lounge collection into a fully functioning mobile bar.

New luxury British pet brand Snout & Paws was founded by Andrey Savin in October last year, after he became frustrated by the lack of fashion-led clothing available for his dog, Fanta - the small dachshund who now models all of the brand's collections.
