Terrariums by A Rum Fellow

British online retailer A Rum Fellow has added a series of terrariums to its collection. The faceted geometric forms are made of glass and solder, and there are four choices available: a hanging teardrop, an inverted pyramid, a cube angled on its side, and a square-bottomed pyramid.

U-turn vase by Enzyma

Italian industrial designer and architect Gianluca Sgalippa, founder of Enzyma, has launched the first decorative accessory of the brand's new range. Called Shaky, the ceramic vase is a cylindrical volume that bends to draw a U-turn. Its balance is guaranteed by a metallic weight on the bottom of the main leg.

New Buzzi collection by Buzzispace

Buzzigrid by Buzzispace

French designer Alain Gilles has created a new range of sound absorbing elements for Belgian brand Buzzispace, to be presented in Milan next week. 

Buzzigrid takes inspiration from the ceiling structures seen in many public spaces. Made of recycled felt, it can be used in meeting rooms or hotel lobbies to absorb polluting sounds and limit the echo. With a clever open structure, it will not obstruct ventilation and lighting systems.

Sacea Recharging Zone: de-stressing Milan Design Week

Visitors to Milan's Fuorisalone next week can check into Brera Design District to de-stress: manufacturing group Sacea have arranged a special installation inside the premises of the Association of Architects in Milan.

The company has organised a Recharging Zone (with art direction by Francesco Mainardi) that is devoted to welcoming and “refreshing the wayfarers of design”, because visitors to the Fuorisalone spend so much of their time walking and getting no rest.

Gardenias is a collection of furniture and decorative accessories for the garden, created by Spanish designer Jaime Hayon for BD Barcelona Design, which will be presented at Milan Design Week. The collection includes sculptural vases and planters made of fine terracotta, chairs, shelving units and benches, and a characterful watering can.
