British design brand Mini Moderns launched a range of emulsion paints made from recycled paint last week at Tent London. The collaboration with eco-manufacturer Newlife Paints comprises 12 shades, each designed to co-ordinate with the brand's range of wallpapers, tableware and soft accessories.
Mustard and Harvest Orange are inspired by the brand's Folk Rock line while Tangerine Dream began with The Buddha of Suburbia interiors line.
The blue shades of the collection come from a variety of sources, including the patina of aged copper surfaces, vintage bus tickets, "the well-worn overalls of north east fishermen" and Art Deco swimming pools.
