Self-described "designer of the unusual" Eric Klarenbeek showed two interesting collections at Ventura Lambrate during Milan design week this month. Appearing as part of impressive Dutch design show Flight of Objects, Klareenbeek's imaginative textiles and lighting designs were stand-out pieces.

Klarenbeek's striking, bulbous glass lighting framed the entranceway to the exhibition, while airy sheets decorated with imaginative and often surreal image montages billowed around you as you made your way through the show. With each movement of the textile, a different aspect of the montage appeared.
