The tenth edition of the University of Leicester's outdoor exhibition of contemporary sculpture, held annually in the Harold Martin Botanic garden, opened to the public last month. WGSN-homebuildlife visited the show this weekend to bring you the highlights.

Curated once again by Dr John Sydney Carter, this year's show is the largest so far, including 78 works by 64 artists.
The University of Leicester's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Robert Burgess, said of the first decade of the event: "Over the last nine years the University has exhibited the work of some of the finest regional, national and international sculptors. The Garden has hosted over 380 sculptures as well as site specific and installation work by artists and sculptors from all over the world."
"I hope the show will encourage visitors to return more than once to experience the exhibits at different times of day and as different foliage and flowers come into bloom. It is the unique quality of the garden setting that provides a tranquil environment in which to contemplate and experience the arts."

This year's exhibition opened on 26 June and runs until 30 October 2011.
