Live from Milan: SU by Nendo for Emeco

Tuesday 8 April 2014

Japanese design studio Nendo has created a collections of eco-friendly stools called SU for American manufacturer Emeco, which is being exhibited until April 13 at Milan's Salone del Mobile.

The pieces' seats are made of reclaimed and recycled materials such as wood (carved by Amish craftsmen in Pennsylvania) and green concrete, which is partly made of recycled glass bottles. The legs are available in recycled aluminum - Emeco's signature material - as well as reclaimed oak.
