The City of Paris has commissioned Made in Paris, designer of high-end home fragrances to create a collection of scented candles paying tribute to classic areas of the French capital. 100% made in France, the eight candles aim at promoting the best of French savoir-faire and the idea of Parisian chic around the world.
Butte Montmartre combines green, floral and fruity notes, in reference to the carefree spirit of Paris' epicurean artists; Champs Elysées was inspired by the festive and glamorous scent of champagne; Le Marais conjures ups images of old hôtels particuliers with its woody and leathery fragrance; and the evocative scents of Ile Saint-Louis, Place des Victoires, Canal Saint-Martin, Saint-Germain-des-Prés or Place Vendôme are captured in the same olfactive way.
