Bike collection by Pijama at Pitti Immagine Uomo

Thursday, 9 January 2014

Italian brand Pijama is presenting its new Bike collection at men's apparel and accessories fair Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence this week. The range includes seat pockets, pants savers, roll ups and bags, and sits alongside the brand's A/W 2014/15 classic cases collection.

Pijama is internationally known for its colourful, scratch-proof cases. The basic material is soft and resistant neoprene combined with a selection of fabrics including dandy wool and classic tweeds.

At first, the brand focused on cases for computers, smart phones, tablets and other everyday objects. Then it expanded into bags, pockets, wallets and other lifestyle items such as slippers, sleeping masks, coasters and placemats.

Fashion designer Monica Battistella and architect Sergio Gobbi founded the brand in 2006, realising that abandoned fabric stock in the heart of Milan's former fashion district could be given a new life, used as soft cases for electronic devices. All of the brand's products are designed and manufactured in Italy.
