The finalists for
Design Indaba 2013's Most Beautiful Object in South Africa award include a
steampunk-style mechanical bureau for storing laptops, a function-driven cutting board and a bicycle made of wood and carbon.

Nominated by a combination of design journalists and commentators, and voted for by the public via SMS, the award's winner will be announced on Sunday 3rd March at the
Design Indaba Expo - the same day that Homebuildlife creative director Lisa White will be speaking.
