Made by Makers has designed a playful tea infuser for
Normann Copenhagen that updates the traditional stainless steel infuser by reinventing the object in silicon.
The Tea Egg is dishwasher-friendly, quick and easy to use, and retails at £14.
The six-colour range gives customers the freedom to assign each colour to its own tea type. While the grey Tea Egg might be used for classic Earl Grey, mint, rose and black options allow the product to accommodate all tea tastes.
"The shape underpins its obvious function and the material surprises the
senses," explain the designers - while the long silicone stem has "the added advantage of making
it easy to stir in the milk and honey.”
