Critter is a freestanding mobile kitchen comprising a sink, two burners, and storage space for pots and pans under the countertop. Designer Elia Mangia has worked together with Italian design company Skitsch to develop this indoor and outdoor kitchen unit, which will be presented at the next Salone del Mobile in Milan.

The Milanese designer describes Critter as “a personal projection on the evolution of the kitchen in contemporary living”. Made of solid ash wood, stainless steel and cast iron, the modular components are fastened together with only eight screws and are interchangeable so that you can change the setup to suit your culinary preferences.

Each element attaches by pegs, which slide into grooves on the two wooden rails that make the main structure. Critter's dimensions are 240 cm x 65 cm x h 91 cm.
