Smart and simple, Lucetta is a set of portable magnetic bicycle lights designed by Emanuele Pizzolorusso for Italian company Palomar. The small LED lights attach with magnets, so they can be used for a bicycle or any metallic surface.
The two small lights – white for the front, red for the rear - are switched on and off with just one click and can be easily attached to several different parts of a bicycle. Users snap the lights to the bike to turn on a steady light, snap them back once to switch the mode to slow flashing, and once more to set fast flashing.
Once a destination is reached, the lights can be removed and linked together for easy storage.
Designed to stay securely in place even on the bumpiest road (see this video for a demonstration), and with a clean look instead of a technical one, Lucetta costs €25 for a pair.
