Former creative director at Issey Miyake, Dai Fujiwara invented the 'color-hunting' concept. Him and his team reproduce colour on a piece of paper by mixing watercolours, to perfectly match tones that they come accross in the wild. If the swatch disappears into the target, it’s a perfect catch.
Fujiwara thus went colour hunting amongst wild lions, and used his finds as a base to reinterpret the Camper Pelotas shoes.
