Makeda was founded in 2009 by designer Anna Forsberg. She has created four collections based on the movements, patterns and colours found in nature.
“I wanted to combine art and graphic design with utility," says Forsberg. "By using the space on the floor, rather than the wall, the rug becomes both a canvas and a piece of furniture.”
