Rigadritto, Milan: stationery trends

Tuesday, 21 May 2013

Stationery store Rigadritto in Milan is a treasure trove of paper goods sourced from around the globe. Illustrations are inspired by children's books, while boxes of pencils and notebooks feature retro typography resembling school exercise books.

British-inspired graphics have a regal 1950s twist with images of the young Queen Elizabeth and London signage.

Intricate pop-up cards with bouquets of forget me nots and roses resemble Victorian greeting cards. Miniature notelets, envelopes and book covers feature hand-made paper printed with mini dot and floral designs.
