Melanie Porter: upcycling with knit

Recently spotted at Top Drawer and Home 2013, designer Melanie Porter restores furniture by using hand knitting and crochet to add new appeal. The Central Saint Martins graduate now sells to worldwide outlets and hand makes each piece herself.

As well as offering a main collection, Melanie can also tailor products to specific tastes with bespoke designs, ranging from type of frame to knitting style.
