Budding chefs can now learn the key techniques of molecular gastronomy at home, with a DIY kit from Canadian company Molecule-R.
The Cuisine (R)evolution kit contains laboratory-standard tools, additives such as soy lecithin, and a 50-recipe DVD to guide the user through spherification, gelification, emulsification and other transformative processes.
The kit retails for $58.95, with another version available for molecular mixology.
