New exhibition TDM5: Grafica Italiana continues La Triennale di Milano's mission to promote and enhance Italian creativity. Running until 24 February 2013, the exhibition focuses on key pieces of graphic art from the 20th century, starting from the Futurist printing revolution, and showcases a diverse range of works by designers including Albe Steiner, Bruno Munari, Bob Noorda, Armando Testa and Massimo Vignelli.
Printing letters, magazines, instruction books, urban signage and the first attempts at video graphics are all used to illustrated the history of the discipline.
The exhibition aims to help the public understand what role Italian graphic artists have played in the history of the country and how they have contributed to its economic, social and cultural climate.
