Omer Arbel, creative director of Canadian lighting brand Bocci, will showcase a new chandelier in an installation at Spazio Rossana Orlandi during Milan Design Week later this month.

Called the 38 Series, the new light is a Surrealist-inspired development of the 28 Series, elaborating on the previous design with the addition of plants. Part lamp, part terrarium, the new design features tangled arrangements of white glass planters and clear glass lights, suspended by stiff copper tubing to create a gravity-defying effect.
