A Taste of Finland by Eat & Joy for WDC Helsinki 2012


Nordic farmers market Eat & Joy presents over 500 delicacies from producers around Finland at its regular Helsinki-based markets and events - and last week presented a taste to Londoners as part of World Design Capital Helsinki 2012.

Guests at A Taste of Finland were encouraged to sample a forager's buffet of delicacies, including poro (wild reindeer meat), smoked fish, rye bread, lingonberries, and a range of deeply-flavoured Finnish cheeses.

Mixologists prepared fresh Finlandia vodka-based cocktails to accompany the meal, using miniature strawberries and super-intense citrus fruits as a garnish.
