Bleached Bleached by Ben Cook

Bleached Bleached is a downloadable catalogue of work curated by online boutique Iko Iko. The January issue presented the work of painter Ben Cook, who uses mixed media to create dynamic canvases in a series entitled Something in the Way.
 

Cook's experimental work indicates star clusters, rock formations and water reflections - each of which can be picked out from the spirals of paint, oil and bleach on canvas.

Cook's work is reminiscent of this time lapse video of Earth, with similarly inspirational qualities for textiles and surface design. All images are taken from Bleached Bleached, which you can find on the Iko Iko website to download here.
