The UK's biggest home and gardening retailer B&Q has made a £12m investment in its gardening department, strongly pushing horticulture with new products across garden care, equipment, power and structures.

B&Q realises the importance of the gardening market in the build up to Spring 2012, and has predicted that some of the major summer events including the Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee will have an impact on the stores sales.

Like B&Q, WGSN-homebuildlife has big predictions for the future of British gardening. Subscribers can click here to read our 2013 Gardening Trends Webinar, and our Outdoor: Design Direction 2013 report.
