Adrien De Melo is presenting seven limited edition pieces of furniture for his first solo exhibition, held at
Galerie BSL in Paris. The pieces aim to explore the concepts of real and recreated nature, and are made using materials including onyx, ceramic and wood.

Sliced/Table |
De Melo’s Sliced/Table ties into the current trend for patchwork wood, seen at both
Milan's Salone del Mobile in April and at
100% Design, London last month. The tabletop is made using a honeycomb composite of nine different wood species: wenge, oak, African mahogany, American walnut, dark ash, light ash, steamed beech, American cherry, and Canadian maple.
