Salon by Lee Broom
British designer Lee Broom will launch a new collection of furniture, Salon, at London Design Festival 2011. Comprised of an armchair, dining chair, sofa, footstool, drum seat and cushions, the collection is Broom's fifth, and the first one to be upholstered.

Each piece features hand-applied, exagerrated stud detailing in gunmetal or gold, and will be available in a selection of finishes, including wool and velvet. A variety of colourways are available, each drawn from a tonal palette of beige, grey, black and white.

Broom says of the project: "I have wanted to create an upholstery collection for a while; my experience in fashion taught me the importance of beautiful tailoring in design and working with British manufacturers allowed me to be entirely hands-on in the design process".
