Ideal Standard Space by Robin Levien

Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom-focused tradefair KBB provides a three-day opportunity for manufacturers, designers, suppliers and retailers to get together, check out the new ranges and plan their offerings for the coming season. WGSN-homebuildlife visited this month's London show to pick out the highlights.

The morphing bath for Kos by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba

Ideal Standard Space by Robin Levien is a range of bathroom furniture aiming to make maximum use of the space which often goes unused in the room - particularly the corners. An example of pure, problem-solving design in action.

The morphing bath, designed for Kos by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, uses a fire-engine red gloss contrasted against a chalky matt white basin - a refreshing use of bold colour in a sector often dominated by whites, greys and neutrals.

WGSN-homebuildlife loves the simple, functional design of the tap  and the curve of the basin feet: considered design details which ensure that despite its attention-grabbing use of colour, the design will age well.
