Having blogged about the impending opening of pop-up architectural installation/tea house Urban Fog two weeks ago (read our original post here), WGSN-homebuildlife visited the event this weekend to experience it for ourselves.

The installation itself is based on the architecture of the traditional Japanese teahouse, with varying levels of height and sheer screens providing a sense of seclusion for each area of seating.

A choice of teas are available, from alcoholic tea cocktails to more traditional varieties of brew such as Assam and green tea, with each served Southern-style in a jam jar.

And it's all for a good cause, with all the profits from the endeavour being donated to a Japanese disaster relief fund.
