HBL Interviews: Tord Boontje

Tord Boontje; a Design Products seminar in progress

WGSN-homebuildlife interviewed Tord Boontje, Head of Design Products at London's Royal College of Art, to find out his vision for the course and how he thinks design education will develop in the future.

Boontje also discusses the influence of his predecessor, Ron Arad, on the course and the current changes being made to the entire academic infrastructure of the RCA by its new rector, Paul Thompson - in the face of significant spending cuts by the British government which heavily affect arts education nationally.
