trend report on the increasing importance of scent in interiors, we've been tracking the trend as it develops at this season's tradeshows. Home scent was a strong trend at
Spring Fair this month (read about it
here), and this week's
Ambiente saw a further development in the field with several new and high-tech designs on show at the fair.

Interior fragrance takes on a futuristic aesthetic, with two key brands launching minimal, discreet diffusers in simple colourways of black and white.
Stadler Form and
Serene House both emphasised their new diffusers in high-profile launches at their respective stands.

Serene House’s Flute references the science of scent with its laboratory-style design, and is available with one, two or three test tubes. Flute emits fragrance from one test tube at a time, changing after 45 minutes to a new scent to keep the interior fragrance fresh and lively.
