Vintage inspiration captured by the WGSN-homebuildlife team at Sunbury Antiques Market, London, this morning:
Over time, this rug has become worn and faded, distorting the pattern as well as enhancing the colour combination of bright red and mustard, with washed-out tones - a good example of Homebuildlife's Hyperculture macrotrend for A/W 12/13.
White 1950s ceramics and Pyrex with bright pops of colour fit well with WGSN–homebuildlife's second A/W 12/13 macrotrend, Cinematic.
