Bleached by the scorching summer sun & harsh freezing winters, the reclaimed wood is given different finishes such as "black silver", copper, bronze, gold, or chrome platinum before being sealed in a clear water-proof resin.

From 14 February - 30 March, Barnaba Fornasetti will present the pieces at Spazio Fornasetti in Corso Matteotti 1/a, Milan, in an exhibition called Sublime Tobacco.

London gallery Contemporary Applied Arts will be transformed into the home of a Modernist furniture collector during the London Design Festival this September.

The exhibition, called domesticMATTERS, will draw parallels between significant pieces of Modernist furniture, from Rocket gallery, and contemporary craft pieces by a selection of designer-makers.
