Play Communs by Ultra Ordinaire

Tuesday 1 October 2013

Ultra Ordinaire teamed up with designers Nathalie Bruyère and Pierre Duffau to create a product that gives children a chance to design and make their own toy robot, 'play communs'.

The kit includes electronic, a cardboard model and instructions. The electronics allow movement of the head, body and arms to add character to each design. The robot construction kit will be on sale from September.

The prototypes of the first 30 robots were previewed during this year's Milan Design Week at the Bla Bla exhibition organised by Alessandro Mendini and will be presented at the first edition of the European Maker Faire in Rome between October 3rd and 6th 2013.
