International Architecture in Stone Award at Marmomacc 2013

Italian stone fair Marmomacc 2013 hosted the the thirteenth edition of the prestigious International Architecture in Stone Award, a biennial prize that celebrates the best architectural projects made using stone-based materials.

Alberto Campo Baeza: Seat of the Council of Castile and Leon - Zamora, Spain 

The jury analysed 29 architectural works implemented in the last three years in 11 different countries and chose five winners "for their architectural quality and expressive use of stone materials, considering they represent a significant panorama of the best achievements on an international scale."

Max Dudler: Castle visitor centre - Heidelberg, Germany 

Now in its 48th edition, the International Trade Fair for Stone, Design and Technologies Marmomacc (which ran from September 25-28 in Verona) is aimed at operators in the stone industry, from machinery to instrumental products, from marble blocks to more complex processing, for professionals in construction and contract sectors as well as designers and decision-makers.
