The collection comprises three sofas and a chandelier, and uses natural materials such as sustainably harvested hardwood, horsehair, coconut fibre and solid brass.

The brand's founder David Alhadeff says: "The Future Perfect is about modern. I believe what's very modern right now is honouring tradition, respecting the environment and acknowledging the lessons of craftsmanship."

"When thinking about manufacturing," Alhadeff continues, "I looked backwards to make work that was uniquely forward thinking. I was inspired by turn of the 19th century upholstering methods and by the exacting lamp-making craftsmanship of the early 20th century."
