Chromatography Series by Lina Patsiou

Tuesday 18 June 2013

Royal College of Art graduate Lina Patsiou has developed a system that matches each letter of the alphabet with a specific colour, and a machine that sprays the colour-coded messages onto objects.

The Method is the system developed to convert messages into a palette of colours, and the Sprayer is the painting machine that applies the sequence of colours to objects.

Patsiou has also developed an algorithm that converts letters of the alphabet into lines on 3D imaging software, so that messages can be printed out as 3D shapes.
