For its first show of the year and for the fourth year running, Paris's Triode Gallery is dedicating the whole of its exhibition space to the best of contemporary American Design - this time focusing on pieces that explore light.

Gallery owner Jacques Barret aims to demonstrate that the transatlantic design scene did not stop at Eames or Knoll, but continues to generate young designers with innovative minds and ideas.

Pieces shown include glass creations by designer and glass blower John Pomp, a monumental spiky ceiling light made out of coloured glass by Triode regular Lindsey Adelman, and wood or metal lamps by Jason Miller, Lukas Peet and Jonah Takagi for New York manufacturer Roll & Hill

Other highlights include works by Matt GagnonSo TakahashiFrederick McSwainFort Standard, and Ini Archibong. The show will run until the 30th March 2013.
