Founded by textiles graduate Maura Grace Ambrose, Folk Fibers specialises in handmade quilts, each one stitched in Austin, Texas using organic fabrics coloured with natural dye. For Levi's Made Here project this summer - a series of limited edition products celebrating American handicraft - Ambrose created a range of beautifully patterned quilts incorporating recycled Levi's and Dockers apparel.

Pieces in the collection are available in very limited quantities, as every one is laboriously hand-stitched by Ambrose and her small team of quilters.

Folk Fibers and the Levi's Made Here project tie into the growing resurgence of the Made in America tagline. WGSN-homebuildlife subscribers can read our report on the movement here.
