RCA student Helena Karelson has designed a set of kitchen scales that measures the weight of ingredients by submerging them into a jug of water.
By reading the level of the water against a scale printed on the interior container, users can gauge the weight of any dry ingredients.
Show RCA continues at the school's campuses in Kensington and Battersea until 1 July.
