One of the highlights of last weekend's Diamond Jubilee celebrations in London was the concert staged in front of Buckingham Palace - which itself became part of the show thanks to d3 technologies, who developed a series of images and animations projected on the building's facade.
A laser scanner was used to help create a model of the building, and a group of animators were commissioned to develop the content.
A key moment was Madness' performance on the roof of the royal residence, during which their famous song Our House was the background for impressive 3D projections featuring British symbols such as the black cab and the red bus.
