From the Seed Cathedral and London's new Routemaster to Heatherwick's Spun chairs, inventive Christmas cards and early projects such as Manchester's B of the Bang sculpture, the book presents each piece alongside an explanation written by Heatherwick considering the design question posed by the project as well as the technological innovations required to make it.
