Fornasetti at Salone 2012

Tuesday 6 March 2012

For Fuori Salone 2012, Fornasetti will present Buffet - a range of furniture available in three sizes and in several designs, both new and taken from the repertoire of classic Fornasetti themes.

It will also be possible for customers to choose their own design from a selection of themes illustrated in the Fornasetti showroom (at Corso G. Matteotti 1/A), which opens from 10-8pm during Salone del Mobile week.

In addition to Buffet, Fornasetti will launch a unique piece called Obelisk, created in collaboration with Epokhé Gallery in Dijon to merge fine design with fine wine. Obelisk is made of oak wood, aged 30 years, and is lined with zinc-alloy plates, originally used in the 1950s for lithographic printing. A removable container stores the rare offering inside: a bottle of Jéroboam Clos des Mouches 2005 of Maison Joseph Drouhin.
